Apology!

Over the weekend I moved to a new house and in the chaos of boxes, dust, tape and cardboard, it took a while to find my brain (but also to set up the internet) so I didn't update the blog. I am so sorry to those of you who rely on the blog!!!! I do beg your pardon.

If you missed homework because of my error, please let me know and I will grant you a grace period to turn it in (one extra day).

Periods 2 and 6: You needed to write out your ten lines and explicate them. You can make a t-chart if you wish and write down the soliloquy that you are working to memorize on one side and the explication on the other. Period 6 will be performing their soliloquies on Friday. Period 2 will be performing on Monday.

Tuesday is Oaks Testing for Period 2/Wednesday for Period 6

On Tuesday

Period 7: You need to make sure you turned in the evidence you collected for the debate so that I can give you credit. You also need to begin your Simplicity Sojourn. If you started it today, then you must work for one full week to try and maintain that agreement with yourself.
If you forgot, you may start Tuesday or Wednesday, but start soon! We will have an in-class reflection paper Friday the 18th.

We have Oaks Testing this week, so come prepared (fed and hydrated, to give your best brainwork to the task!)

Homework!

Periods 2 and 6: Finish Iambic Pentameter sheet

Period 7: Finish the book. Remember to use sticky notes to help track your thinking! Prepare for the debate on Wednesday. Brainstorm an idea for the Simplicity Sojourn.

Period 2 and 6!

Finish reading Act IV in Macbeth.

Period 7: Into the Wild!

Come on Monday Prepared to continue your debate. I will be looking for the use of strong evidence in your arguments. I loved when you were able to use the book to argue a point. Go back over the book and find evidence that supports your point of view.
